It seems that Obama has chosen a top RIAA lawyer, Tom Perrelli, for the DOJ #3 postion.
The #2 position is going to David Ogden, his Law Firm's bio on him stating that his clients are "media and Internet industries, as well as major trade and professional associations,who was the lawyer who helped push through the Copyright Term Extension Act which extense copyrights for another 20 years past the original 50 years beyond the author's death. It was greatly opposed by groups on varrious grounds that all end up saying the only reason is the give corporate welfare because an actual author makes most profits in the first few years. So after groups like the Pirate Party threw their support behind Obama. He has appointed people who are very pro-everyone who downloads one illegal song should be prosecuted. But his VP has a long history of attempts to increase prosecution of indivual P2P downloaders.
